Rivers
EST. 2006
Pastor Michael Boggs felt a deep calling from God to establish a new church in 2006, which he named Rivers of Living Water Ministries. With a vision to create a community of believers centered on the love and grace of Jesus Christ, he set out to establish a place of worship where people could come together to learn, grow, and serve. Through prayer, hard work, and faith, Pastor Boggs was able to bring his vision to life, and Rivers of Living Water Ministries has since become a thriving congregation that continues to spread the word of God to all who seek it.

Our Beliefs
The Bible
The Bible is the Word of God to man. All Scripture contained in the Word is "God breathed," the product of Holy men who spoke and wrote as they were moved upon by the Holy Spirit.

2 Timothy 3:16. 2 Peter 1:2.
The Trinity
God is one God who exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Luke 3:21-22. John 15:26-27.
Mankind
Man is a created being, formed in the image of God. Through Adam's sin, spiritual death came upon all men, thus separating us from God. Salvation is available through Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, who gave His life and shed His blood for the remission of sin and man's reconciliation to God.

Genesis 1:27-28. Romans 5:12.
John 3:16. 2 Corinthians 5:18-19.
Salvation
Salvation is available to all through the New Birth, which includes repentance and the confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

John 3:3. Romans 10:9-10.
Water Baptism
Water Baptism by immersion is a symbol of a Christian's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.

Matthew 28:19. Romans 6:4.
Colossians 2:12. Acts 8:36-39.
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit and Fire is a gift from God as promised through the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers and is subsequent to Salvation.

Matthew 3:11. Luke 24:49.
Acts 1:8. Acts 2:1-4.
Sanctification
Sanctification is a definite, yet progressive work of grace which begins at Salvation and is a continual process throughout the believer's life.

Hebrews 12:14.
1 Thessalonians 5:23.
2 Peter 3:18. Philippians 1:6.
Divine Healing
Divine Healing is provided for in the atoning work of Christ and is available to all believers.

Isaiah 53:4-5. Matthew 8:17.
1 Peter 2:24.
The Rapture
The resurrection of believers who have passed away and the catching away (Rapture) of living believers will occur at the appearance of Jesus Christ.

Acts 1:11.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.
Eternity
One who dies without accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will spend eternity separated from God in a literal hell. One who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will spend eternity in Heaven.

Hebrews 9:27.
Revelation 19:20.
